CMCC’s Continuing Education Division (CE) provides easy access to high quality educational programs to meet the ever-changing needs of chiropractors in practice. Conferences, seminars, and online or hard copy resources improve practitioners’ knowledge and skills while enhancing the quality of patient care. Our CE programs are current and relevant to graduate chiropractors, related health care workers and undergraduate chiropractic students.

Weekend Seminars
Delivered across the country, these courses pertain to individual provincial licensing and regulatory board requirements, and are developed in cooperation with chiropractic associations in all regions of Canada. Most are 12-hour programs.

Fellowship Programs
These intensive three-year programs are offered through weekend seminars. Course requirements include exit examinations for each level. Successful completion leads to eligibility to pursue Fellowship status.

Certificate Programs
This extended series of weekend programs, completed in progressive levels, leads to advanced knowledge and training in areas such as Acupuncture, Clinical Anatomy and Independent Chiropractic Evaluations. Successful completion enables the practitioner to receive certification in these areas.

Distance Education
For practitioners who want to enhance their diagnostic skills from home or office, these interactive programs can be accessed on CD-ROM, DVD or online, through our website, or in paper-based correspondence courses. All programs provide Canadian chiropractors with mandatory licensing renewal credit hours.

Scientific Literature Subscription Service

Research Review Service is an online, subscription-based information service designed to help chiropractors integrate current scientific literature into
their patient care. Subscribers enjoy over 60 reviews per year of the latest
scientific literature in chiropractic and manual medicine, sports injuries,
and rehabilitation.  RRS features affordable subscription options, and is
approved for 4.0 Continuing Education credit hours/year by CMCC.
Visit www.researchreviewservice.com for more information.

CE for Undergraduate Students
From time to time we offer CE courses specifically for chiropractic students who want to advance their theoretical knowledge and practical skills through lifelong long learning. Enrolment in most CE courses is permitted, but credit toward certification may not be allowed.

Seminar Planning Services
If you or your group wish to organize CE courses in your geographical vicinity, please contact the Director of Continuing Education to discuss the requirements and possible logistics for delivery of the program.
