Please Note: This is a summary of CMCC’s undergraduate admission requirements. For details please download the current CMCC Academic Calendar (PDF).
Applicants from Canada
The minimum academic requirement for consideration for admission is a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.50 on a 4.00 grade point scale from at least three full years of undergraduate university study in Canada (15 full year courses or 90 credit hours). Grades from all years on an applicant's transcript are included in the calculation of their CGPA.
Applicants in a Degree program at a college are asked to contact admissions@cmcc.ca for further verification of their credits.
Transcripts from Canadian universities are to be sent directly from the university to CMCC Admissions. Transcripts from non-Canadian universities are to be sent directly from the university to the World Education Services. (Please see the section below for 'International' applications for further information re: WES.)
Applicants who study in a university transfer program at a college must subsequently complete at least one full year of undergraduate study at a university in Canada (5 full year courses or 30 credit hours) in order that the university transcript (showing earned and transfer courses) meets our minimum academic requirement of 15 full year courses or 90 credit hours. Whenever a university transcript includes transfer credits from another institution, a copy of that institution's transcript must also be sent to CMCC.
Applicants from the Province of Québec must complete two years of appropriate study in a CeGeP program, with successful completion of the Diplome d’études collegiales DeC, and at least two full years of undergraduate university study in Canada, earning the cumulative GPA requirements above.
We do not have course prerequisites, however we recommend that our students have a science background and we suggest courses such as anatomy, kinesiology, organic chemistry and biology with labs, introductory psychology, phys ed, and some humanites and/or social sciences.
All academic requirements must be completed no later than May 31 of the year of registration at CMCC.
Applicants from outside Canada (International Students)
International students who are interested in the profession of chiropractic are encouraged to consider applying to CMCC. The strength of our academic, clinical and professional standards are recognized world wide.
International applicants follow the same admission process (see above) as all other applicants to CMCC, however, to ensure that all students are assessed on an equal basis, international students are required to provide the following additional information:

Only TOEFL tests are accepted. This test may be taken at www.ets.org/toefl. CMCC's institutional code is 8866.
Proficiency in English may also be demonstrated through successful completion of an English proficiency admission test at a Canadian university.
- Evidence of having the financial resources, or funding commitment, to complete a minimum of one year of education;
- The equivalent educational requirements to students matriculating in Canada;
- Transcripts from institutions outside Canada must be evaluated on a course-by-course basis by the following agency only:
