Staying green

CMCC is proud of its efforts to reduce waste and become a more sustainable campus. Did you know, that through paper recycling alone, CMCC has collectively saved over 40.366 trees this past year?

And since implementing paperless exams, we save approximately 3000 sheets of paper on each conventional exam (an average of 15 pages) for each cohort of students. During 2017-18, CMCC students undertook 81 exams. That’s a lot of paper saved.

Smart lights and high efficiency toilets and faucets help us conserve valuable resources and reduce our greenhouse emissions.

New this year, CMCC added organics to its recycling program. The cafeteria alone diverts 12lbs of food waste and coffee grounds from the landfill daily by using this program.
