Dr. Woolfrey graduated from CMCC in 1990 after receiving a BSc from Acadia and a BEd from Memorial University. He has held various positions in Masonic Lodge and is the current president of the local Rotary Club. He has a full-time chiropractic practice in Grand Falls-Windsor and is a member of the courtesy staff at the central regional hospital in NL. He has served as the Newfoundland and Labrador Chiropractic Association President, Chair of the Regulatory Board and served on the CCA as the NL representative. He is currently serving as the Chair of the regulatory Board Disciplinary Panel.
