Dr. Kwong Chiu is the Coordinator of Clinical Acupuncture Program and Assistant Clinical Professor. He was previously a contributor to the Naturopathic Board Exams in Clinical Acupuncture and was later Associate Professor and Head of the Asian Medicine Department at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. After earning an undergraduate degree in Science at York University, he completed the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He then went on to study acupuncture in Hong Kong, China, USA and Canada. Dr. Chiu’s research focuses on acupuncture regulation in Ontario. He has contributed articles to the Canadian Chiropractor periodical. He has presented his work for the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He serves as the Chiropractic Representative for the North American Council of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is the current President of the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.
