The Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges

The International Health Promoting Campuses Network is guided by the Okanagan Charter: An International Charter for Health Promoting University and Colleges, which calls on post-secondary schools to embed health into all aspects of campus culture and to lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally.

The Charter has two Calls to Action:

To embed health into all aspects of campus culture across the administration, operations and academic mandates
To lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally

CMCC’s Standing Committee on Campus Health is pleased to announce that CMCC’s Board of Governors approved the adoption of the Okanagan Charter in May, 2018.
