Background

My primary interest as an educator has historically been in psychomotor skill learning involving spinal manipulative therapy with an emphasis on approaches to teaching a diverse group of individuals in achieving similar outcomes. Part of this has also driven my curiosity in how the skills themselves (including factors such as method of setup and execution) can be modified for both providers and patients. More recently, I have been curious about other contextual factors involved in the learning process, such as systemic, environment, and/or personal (i.e., psychological) factors that may be facilitators or barriers learning in professional students.
