  • Directly email a researcher identified in Step 2. Ask about any current or future opportunities.
  • Tip: Ensure that your message clearly describes your interests and background, and why you chose the researcher.


Programs and Opportunities

  • A competitive annual program that typically has more nominations than positions
  • Compensation is provided
  • Students should seek out and meet with a CMCC researcher well before the application deadline

  • Completion of the TCPS2CORE training modules is required to work on any research.

  • CMCC offers two research courses that can be taken as electives
    • RMO3302 – Original Research Project Development and Completion
    • RMO3303 – Student Research Apprenticeship
  • Credit is given on transcript, but does not influence your grade point average
