Life Sciences Research

Researchers in the Life Sciences Labs are investigating the cellular, molecular and tissue-level phenomena at the core of patients' pain and their responses to chiropractic treatment. Better understanding of the scientific underpinnings of chiropractic positions us to improve the quality and effectiveness of treatment and enhances the dialogue between professions.

What’s in the Lab?

CMCC’s Life Sciences Laboratories are equipped for tissue culture, microscopy and the analysis of human tissues using such techniques as western blotting, ELISA and real-time PCR.

The Life Sciences Laboratories especially focus on studies of the neuroinflammatory mechanisms underlying spinal pain syndromes and patients’ responses to treatment. Find out about some of our recent workhere
