Faculty are critical to CMCC’s research. Read our 2024 research culture and capacity study for free here.
How to get involved
There are several ways for CMCC faculty to get involved in research, regardless of whether you are an experienced or inexperienced researcher and with varying levels of commitment to fit within your schedule.
Be supported
All research requires time and most research requires operational resources. Support for time and operational resources is available to CMCC faculty through the Faculty Research Hours and Internal Research Support Fund competition. Learn more about this competitive process here.
CMCC also has well-equipped and staffed Human Performance and Life Sciences research labs that are accessible to faculty. Contact Dr. Samuel Howarth (showarth@cmcc.ca) for inquiries regarding Human Performance Research and Dr. Brian Budgell (bbudgell@cmcc.ca) for inquiries regarding Life Sciences Research.
