Any project that involves exchange of funds and/or data requires a contract. The ORA coordinates the Contract Management and Review process for all CMCC research here. All contracts must be reviewed and approved by CMCC’s legal counsel and the Vice President of Administration and Finance.

Funds can be exchanged with: 

• Collaborating institutions
• Granting agencies
• Industry partners

Data can be exchanged with: 

• Collaborating researchers
• Government agencies
• Professional associations and regulatory bodies
• Private clinics
• Industry partners

Reporting

The ORA assists with any reporting requirements that are specified in funding agreements. Timelines and requirements are specific to each funder. Please contact ora@cmcc.ca if in doubt.

Ethics and registration

The ORA maintains a database of all ongoing projects and grants at CMCC. Grant applications typically require an institutional signatory to preapprove the application. The ORA requires at least 2-weeks to review and obtain necessary signatures. Please contact ora@cmcc.ca to register your project or grant application.
