Biography

Dr. Robert Gringmuth is an Assistant Professor and Clinician at the Campus Clinic as well as the Director of a multidisciplinary sports injury management faciliity. He was previously a Course Coordinator at CMCC and was later a Coordinator for the Sports Sciences Residency Program. After earning a Doctor of Chiropractic at the CMCC, he completed a fellowship with the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences and then with the College of Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Gringmuth’s research focus is on concussions and neck pain which has been funded by McMaster University and has to date been presented as a masters research project and approved. He is the data coordinators for the Ontario Soccer Association for soccer injuries which is currently being statistically evaluated at Laurentian University. He serves as a consultant foreign reviewer on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Sports Medicine, is the Chair of the Medical Committee for the Ontario Soccer Association, and Immediate Past President and Executive Board member of the CCSS(C). He is also a member of the Rehab Committee for the Ontario Chiropractic Association, as well as an Insurance Consultant. He is a member of the Ontario Acupuncture Counsel as well as the American Chiropractic Association. He has made several television appearances and is a contributing writer for the magazines “The Team” Canada, “Inside Soccar” Canada, and newsletter “Coaching Corner”. He is a contributing author to the Ontario Soccar Association website’s medical section and medical blog.
