Dr. Rocco Guerriero is currently an Associate Professor and the Coordinator of the Department of Rehabilitative and Assessment Services at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He is also President and CEO of the North York Rehabilitation Centre Inc and President and CEO of the Canadian Medrehab and Disability Assessments Inc. He also maintains a private practice in Willowdale and serves as Chiropractic Consultant to CRI, Insurer Examinations, Bloorview MacMillan’s Pediatric Med/rehab DAC abd Company Doctor to Sealy Canada. He was previously a Chiropractic Consultant to St. Michael’s Hospital in the Brain Injury Program and was later a Chiropractic Consultant to the University Health Network/Toronto Western Hospital Med/Rehab DAC Program. After earning a undergraduate degree in Science, he completed a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Fellowship in Acupuncture. He is currently finishing his Masters in Chiropractic Rehabilitation at the University of Bournemouth. He has contributed articles to the Journal of Canadian Chiropractic Association, Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Canadian Chiropractor and several other academic journals. He is a recipient of two distinguished donor awards both from CMCC and its Governor’s Club as well as the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractor’s Association’s Award of Excellence in original research. He is currently the Chair of the Residency Development Committee of the College of Chiropractic Orthopedists (Canada), the Vice President of the Executive of th College of Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences (Canada) and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Association of Designated Assessment Centers (DAC).
Dr. Guerriero teaches CD1301 and CD2301 Introductory Diagnosis and Orthopedics, CD3301 Orthopedics’s Review, CE4405 Clinical Practice Internship and AC3308 Clinical Management. Dr. Guerriero has also given presentations to M.P.P. John O’Toole at Queen’s Park, at the Canadian Academy of Psychological Disability Assessors, at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and at Deloitte and Touche to name a few.
Dr. Guerriero’s research focuses on rehabilitation and chiropractic techniques.
