SCCA – Student Canadian Chiropractic Association

The Student Canadian Chiropractic Association (SCCA) acts as the voice of Canadian chiropractic students – studying at CMCC and around the world – to organizations such as the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and provincial branches.

SCCA strives to keep students informed about the political and professional aspects of chiropractic, including seminars, licensing and registration, government funding changes, and interprofessional collaborations. The SCCA executive also works with other campus clubs to invite speakers to CMCC and increase the information about clinical practice available to students.

The Interprofessional Committee works to increase the communication between Canadian student health care associations in various health care fields. The International Committee works to develop a communication link with chiropractic students studying in the United States and abroad, and to increase the benefits available for chiropractic students. The High School Outreach Committee acts to educate high school students about the chiropractic profession. The newly formed Volunteer Committee is an excellent way for students to find opportunities to contribute to their community.
